The challenge

A financial services group operating in Australia and New Zealand ran NetSuite as its finance system and needed a procure-to-pay process that behaved identically across both markets.

Invoices arriving as PDFs and images still required manual handling, and the two countries risked diverging into separate processes.

What we did

Valtatech delivered a phased procure-to-pay implementation covering Australia and New Zealand, integrating Coupa with the group's NetSuite environment through Integration as a Service.

Valtatech Invoice AI for Coupa was deployed to capture PDF and image invoices as structured data, and a contracted Peppol service added for suppliers able to send electronically.

Support runs from 6am to 8pm AEST on business days — a deliberately wide window covering both countries' working hours — and extends to the group's suppliers as well as its own users, including integration and configuration changes in both Coupa and the middleware.

THE OUTCOME

One procure-to-pay process across two countries, with invoice capture and eInvoicing on the same NetSuite-integrated base.

Valtatech is software vendor agnostic. The technology named here is what this client selected; we start from requirements, operating model and existing systems. See how we approach Source to Pay →
