Dealer management systems are not built to talk to modern procurement platforms. That gap is the whole job.
An automotive distribution group in Singapore was putting procurement onto Coupa, with Autoline as its dealer management system.
Autoline is built for vehicle and parts operations rather than for integration with cloud procurement platforms, so connecting the two is not a matter of switching on a standard connector.
Valtatech implemented supplier information management and P2P, and delivered the integration between Coupa and Autoline as Integration as a Service, on a cloud-based platform handling any-to-any data movement between the two systems. The platform went live in February 2021 and the scope has extended since, through sublet purchase order handling and an API OAuth 2.0 migration.
Support runs on Singapore business hours and Singapore public holidays rather than an offshore calendar, and covers the group's suppliers as well as its own users. It also acts as the route to platform-level support where an issue turns out to sit with Coupa itself, so the group raises one ticket rather than triaging between vendors.
