The challenge

An online marketplace group ran operating entities across six Southeast Asian markets, each with its own legal entity, local currency and spending patterns.

Procurement that works in one market and is worked around in five is not a procurement process. The approval model had to be coherent group-wide while still reflecting what a given amount means in each market.

What we did

Valtatech implemented Coupa procure-to-pay for the group, configured for its multi-entity, multi-currency structure, with approval thresholds set per entity in local currency.

Delivery ran through structured solution design and integration workshops, a configuration workbook covering each module in scope, and a tracked action and issue log through build and testing.

A second phase extended the rollout further across the group's markets.

THE OUTCOME

One procure-to-pay platform across six markets, with approval thresholds that reflect local currency rather than a single converted figure.

Valtatech is software vendor agnostic. The technology named here is what this client selected; we start from requirements, operating model and existing systems. See how we approach Source to Pay →
