The challenge

A telecommunications operator in the Pacific ran Coupa for procurement with Greentree as its finance system.

Greentree is not a system with an off-the-shelf path into cloud procurement platforms, and a smaller finance team has less capacity to absorb manual invoice handling than a large one — the opposite of the usual assumption.

What we did

Valtatech deployed Valtatech Invoice AI for Coupa to capture supplier invoices as structured data rather than documents requiring manual entry.

Integration as a Service connects Coupa to Greentree, delivered on a cloud integration platform capable of any-to-any data movement, which is what makes a less common finance system tractable.

Support covers the operator's own users and its suppliers, including integration and customisation changes in both Coupa and the middleware.

THE OUTCOME

Automated invoice capture connected through to a finance system with no standard integration path, running since 2020.

Valtatech is software vendor agnostic. The technology named here is what this client selected; we start from requirements, operating model and existing systems. See how we approach Source to Pay →
