Epicor's schema is less forgiving than most. That changes how an integration has to be designed, and it is better known up front.
Not a list of features. These are the things that cost time on real Epicor projects.
Interdependencies mean a change in one place has consequences in another, so the integration has to be mapped as a whole rather than module by module.
Aligning inconsistent structures is a prerequisite, not a refinement.
Epicor's schema allows less latitude than some systems, so the transformation layer carries more of the work. Designing around that early avoids rework later.
Continuous data flow is not the default and needs building.
Customisation has to be carried across faithfully, or downstream reporting quietly diverges from the source.
The integration is working when reports reconcile to Epicor without manual adjustment.
We build the integration, then run it — monitoring, error handling and support against agreed service levels. Integrations break when a source system changes, and somebody has to be watching when that happens.
